SW Locums are seeking to recruit a team of remote workers to work on an IT assessment project for our exclusive client.

Essential Criteria:

This role exclusively applies to workers who have a documented diagnosis of hand tremors (including essential tremor) and have lived experience of hand tremors / essential tremor.

6 month initial contract, with a view to extending based upon performance.

Fully remote, flexitime working.

The work is project/sessional so will be paid per session/task on a part-time basis (further details to be supplied at interview stage).

We require candidates who:

  • Hold UK right to work.
  • Live in the UK and are a UK resident.
  • Have the ability and have access to their own computer and keyboard independently.
  • Can clearly communicate and provide clear feedback in English.

Applicants will be required to provide evidence of eligibility as part of the application process.

The role will be centred around surveying the keyboard navigation and how selected websites facilitate accessibility.

Successful candidates will take part in accessibility feedback sessions.

Assessments will include the gathering of feedback to help improve accessibility for people who may find mouse use difficult.

No technical experience is required — we’re looking for real user experience and honest feedback.

If selected to participate you will:

  • Use websites on your own laptop/desktop.
  • Navigate using a keyboard (no mouse).
  • Try everyday tasks such as moving through menus and buttons, completing forms, selecting options/checkboxes, and switching between fields.
  • Share your honest response on what works well and what is difficult.
  • Provide short written feedback (or quick recorded feedback depending on the task).

Participants are paid for their time for each completed assessment.

Depending on eligibility and the type of website being reviewed, participants may have the option to take part in a separate compensation process.

Participation is entirely optional, and further details will be shared with eligible participants.
