Job Summary
The IT Solution Architect is responsible for designing and delivering scalable, secure, and cost-effective technology solutions that align with business objectives. This role works closely with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, and infrastructure teams to define solution architectures, ensure technical standards, and guide implementation across enterprise applications and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end technology solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution architectures.
- Develop architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and design documentation.
- Collaborate with business, development, infrastructure, and security teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate technologies, platforms, and tools to recommend the best-fit solutions.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture standards, security policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Guide development teams during implementation and provide technical leadership.
- Review solution designs to ensure performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Support system integration using APIs, middleware, and cloud services.
- Identify technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Participate in architecture governance, design reviews, and technology roadmaps.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, system integration, and enterprise technologies.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of microservices, APIs, RESTful services, and integration patterns.
- Familiarity with databases, networking, security, and infrastructure concepts.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) or architecture certifications.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration platforms and messaging technologies.
