Posted 6 days ago by SHAW TRUST

Purpose

We're looking for an experienced IT Service Designer to play a pivotal role in shaping and improving the services that support our organisation's growth, transformation and technology strategy.

Working within the IT Delivery Management Office, you'll lead the design and evolution of services across a varied portfolio of business change, continuous improvement and technology implementation projects.

You'll be responsible for creating exceptional end-user experiences by designing services that are innovative, effective and aligned with business objectives.

From exploring new service opportunities to refining operational processes, you'll take a user-centred approach to ensure services deliver real value for both colleagues and the wider organisation.

Working closely with Product Owners, developers, operational teams and other stakeholders, you'll use design thinking methodologies to understand user behaviours, identify pain points and uncover opportunities for improvement.

You'll facilitate workshops, gather insights and translate findings into practical solutions that balance user needs, operational feasibility and business priorities.

You'll create and maintain service blueprints, customer journey maps and service prototypes, using testing and measurable outcomes to validate ideas and continuously improve designs.

You'll also stay informed of emerging trends, technologies and best practices, using data-driven insight to shape forward-thinking service solutions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about service design, enjoys solving complex problems and thrives in a collaborative environment where they can influence meaningful change and improve the experience of end users across the organisation.
