Summary: The role of IT Security Engineer focuses on assessing risk and securing enterprise systems, particularly in HR/Payroll and AI/ML implementations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as an Information security subject matter expert on IT projects.
  • Provide guidance during the design and implementation of business services to ensure appropriate security controls and related processes are documented and implemented.
  • Provide guidance on security implications/considerations/requirements relating to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) within business and supporting systems, including generative AI considerations.
  • AI/ML background with risk assessments, governance, and making recommendations on overall AI direction within Cyber Security Team.
  • Prepare written security technical controls recommendations, information security processes, and related position statements/reports for project team members and relevant stakeholders.
  • Communicate complicated information security concepts and solutions in terms actionable by peers/service owners/IT leadership.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Senior Cyber Security Engineer.
  • Experience with HR/Payroll and general enterprise systems.
  • PeopleSoft HCM experience.
  • Current experience assessing risk of AI tools and technology.
