Summary: The IT Scrum Master/Project Manager role involves providing technical leadership to the Client IT Application Development team, focusing on delivering software that adds value for business stakeholders and end users. The position requires leading a team to modernize data warehouse and reporting systems while ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience in agile project management and a strong understanding of technical project requirements. This is a remote position for a duration of 12+ months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and organizing of a team of developers, testers, and analysts.
- Transform and modernize data warehouse and reporting software systems.
- Digest business process diagrams and systems interaction diagrams.
- Interpret business needs and aid in the transition of requirements to technical design.
- Promote thoughtful analysis discussions during and after requirements turnover throughout the project lifecycle.
- Organize team artifacts and iterative events/ceremonies.
- Effectively communicate risks, dependencies, and progress to stakeholders.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders and other IT teams during the project.
- Utilize project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and MS Teams.
Key Skills:
- 3 to 5 years of Scrum Master or agile project management experience for technical projects.
- Agile/Scrum training or certification.
- Experience with data warehouse and reporting systems.
- Ability to digest business process diagrams and systems interaction diagrams.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Familiarity with project management tools: JIRA, Confluence, MS Teams.
