IT Project Estimating Analyst

Our Fortune 100 client is looking for a Project Estimating Analyst for a 12 month contract. This resource will work closely with business and IT partners to define project scope/deliverables, optimize project forecasts, and facilitate approval of rough order of magnitude (ROM) estimate leveraging in-house tools and techniques to set proper expectations.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Portfolio Management (ideally in a PMO context), project estimating practices, and experience with the PM tool Planview Portfolios.

This is a fully remote position but candidates must live and work in the 48 contiguous states and be willing to work during core EST business hours. Our client is an industry leader with a cutting edge IT shop and great work culture. Apply today for more information!

Essential Skills:

• Portfolio Management and/or PMO experience
• Working knowledge of project estimation practices
• Analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to investigate, assess and recommend solutions. Organized with the ability to multi-task, set priorities, follow up on open items and attend to details.

Plusses:

• Experience with utilization of the SLIM estimating tool
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, etc.
• Experience with Planview Portfolios
