Summary: The IT Procurement Manager role focuses on leveraging strategic procurement skills within the public sector to drive cost improvements and support business ambitions. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Opportunity Assessment Reviews and support delivery through data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and report development.
- Research and develop innovations for cost improvements and client benefits.
- Follow benefits realisation processes and ensure strategies are in place for achievement.
- Develop relationships with stakeholders and escalate issues as needed.
- Identify and deliver savings initiatives across project areas.
- Support knowledge sharing and product development within a Category Group.
- Identify opportunities for up-sell in client engagements and assist in developing business cases.
- Utilise tools and methodologies for procurement processes and project delivery.
- Deliver assigned workstreams across multiple projects using defined methodologies.
