Summary: For this contractor assignment, the role involves ensuring adherence to software license agreements and compliance with relevant licensing regulations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate license counts for accountable software titles
  • Input license entitlements into the enterprise Software Catalog
  • Establish/maintain/optimize associated license positions
  • Assist software owners with understanding their software portfolios and license positions
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of software licenses
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on software license compliance, including license management, usage tracking, and renewal processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to streamline software license management and compliance activities

Key Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Business or Technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math)
  • A minimum of six years of work experience in technical infrastructure, IT Process design/process improvement, or IT Project Management positions
  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of eight years of related work experience in technical infrastructure, IT process design/process improvement, or IT project management position

For this contractor assignment, looking for a contractor to ensure adherence to software license agreements and compliance with relevant licensing regulations. Will collaborate closely with various internal teams to assess license positions and make recommendations regarding software licensing/cost optimization.
