Job Responsibilities/Objectives
- You will be responsible for supporting Operational Technology (OT) assessments, architecture definition, solution design, and implementation programs across global manufacturing operations.
- The role requires extensive experience in industrial automation, digital manufacturing, and IT/OT convergence, with deep expertise in Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Process Historian Databases (PHD), OPC Servers (OPC DA/UA), industrial networks, and associated OT platforms.
- The individual will evaluate existing OT landscapes, identify capability gaps, define technology roadmaps, and design scalable architectures that support operational excellence, cybersecurity, and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- This role serves as a trusted advisor to business and plant leadership, translating operational challenges into practical technology solutions that improve reliability, productivity, quality, and process performance. The candidate will lead end-to-end delivery of OT modernization programs, including system integration, historian strategies, data architectures, connectivity frameworks, and governance models.
- Deep understanding of ISA-95, Purdue Model architecture, industrial cybersecurity, and IT/OT integration principles is essential. The role requires collaboration with global stakeholders, OEMs, engineering teams, system integrators, and technology vendors to ensure successful deployment and adoption of OT solutions.
- Experience across process industries such as Pulp & Paper, Chemicals, Oil & Gas, Food & Beverage, and Mining, as well as discrete manufacturing sectors, is expected.
- The successful candidate will combine strong consulting, technical leadership, and programme management capabilities to drive sustainable digital transformation across multi-site manufacturing enterprises.
- The position involves significant engagement in global assessment, design, and implementation initiatives, ensuring standardized, secure, and future-ready OT ecosystems.
