Summary: The IT Network Analyst role at DivIHN is a remote position focused on configuring and troubleshooting Cisco and Arista network devices. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining network management tools and documentation systems, with a strong emphasis on problem-solving and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure and troubleshoot Cisco and Arista network devices.
  • Perform basic network configurations (routing, VLANs, interface setups).
  • Update and maintain SolarWinds for network monitoring.
  • Keep the Service Now CMDB (Configuration Management Database) accurate and up to date.
  • Assist in network deployments and upgrades.

Key Skills:

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching).
  • Strong skills in Routing and Switching.
  • 3-5+ years hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and Arista EOS.

Description:

Location:
100% Remote. No travel required (preferable to candidates within 1 hour of Client, NY or Charlotte, NC, however, all candidate locations will be considered as long as they are comfortable working in EST hours). Candidates must be willing to work EST hours.

Schedule: Monday -Friday 8 AM - 5 PM. May be some flexibility required to support APAC time zone, will reflect in shift for the week.

Anticipated as 6-month assignment. Possibility of extension based on demand.

About the Role
We are looking for a Network Analyst with a solid foundation in networking and hands-on experience with Cisco and Arista platforms. The ideal candidate will be capable of performing basic configurations, as well as maintaining network management tools and documentation systems. Client transitioned from Cisco to Arista environment.

Key Responsibilities
Configure and troubleshoot Cisco and Arista network devices.
Perform basic network configurations (routing, VLANs, interface setups).

Keep the Service Now CMDB (Configuration Management Database) accurate and up to date.

Required Qualifications

Should be strong in Routing and Switching.
Good Routing skills, good technical skills are very important; the areas of ServiceNow CMDB and SolarWinds
3-5+ years Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS and Arista EOS.
Familiarity with SolarWinds and Service Now CMDB processes.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Any industry background is good to go.

Preferred Qualifications
CCNA or equivalent certification is preferred, not required.
Experience with automation tools (Python, Ansible) is a plus.
Knowledge of network security principles.
