Summary: The role of Specialist-Senior focuses on leading project efforts in health IT, particularly in supporting rural providers with onboarding and vendor oversight. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead efforts to provide onboarding for eligible rural providers.
- Oversee personnel and technical vendor support.
- Collaborate with DHHS and other stakeholders to establish KPIs and continuous quality improvement processes.
- Provide guidance and leadership in the usage and support of development platforms and business applications.
- Conduct analysis, visual design, development, data analysis, testing, and implementation.
- Prepare technical and user documentation, and perform software conversions and maintenance.

This staff will need extensive experience in project leadership, stakeholder engagement, procurement, vendor oversight, and policy analysis. This position will lead efforts to provide eligible rural providers with onboarding, oversee personnel and technical vendor support, work with DHHS and other stakeholders to establish KPIs and continuous quality improvement process. Ability to travel within North Carolina and/or nationally about once a month (Research Triangle-based candidates preferred)
