IT Finance Manager

Introduction

As an IT Finance Manager, you will play a vital role in managing the financial aspects of the IT department.

You will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, cost allocation, vendor management, and ensuring the overall financial health of the IT organization.

This position requires a strong background in IT financial management, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and Forecasting: Build and manage annual IT operating and capital expense budgets. Monitor monthly variances against forecasts.
• Project Financial Analysis: Evaluate business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and ROI for new software, hardware, and IT vendor contracts.
• Cost Allocation and Tracking: Manage chargebacks, cost allocations, and general ledger reconciliations for technology units.
• Vendor and Asset Optimization: Partner with procurement to analyze vendor spend, negotiate contracts, and find cost-saving opportunities.
• Executive Reporting: Prepare dashboards, metrics tracking (KPIs/OKRs), and presentations to communicate financial performance to IT and finance leaders.
