Summary: The role of IT Business Continuity Consultant involves delivering IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs within large enterprise environments. The position requires active SC clearance and strong facilitation skills for conducting workshops and mapping dependencies. The consultant will also need to create practical runbooks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for recovery objectives. This is a remote position for a duration of 6 months, with a daily rate of up to £575.00.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) programs in large enterprise environments.
  • Facilitate Business Impact Analysis (BIA) workshops and dependency mapping.
  • Create practical runbooks for service-led continuity planning.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and business requirements for Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO).
  • Produce clear, actionable documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience delivering IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) programs in large enterprise environments.
  • Active SC Clearance.
  • Strong facilitation skills for Business Impact Analysis (BIA) workshops and dependency mapping.
  • Knowledge of service-led continuity planning and hands-on experience creating practical runbooks.
  • Understanding of regulatory and business requirements for Recovery Time Objective (RTO) and Recovery Point Objective (RPO).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to produce clear, actionable documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
