ISO Lead, ISO27001 2022, Audit, ISMS, Contract 6 months remote

Summary: The ISO Lead will oversee the design, implementation, and management of the Information Security Management System (ISMS) in alignment with ISO27001 standards for a financial services organization. This role involves coordinating audits, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring continuous improvement of security practices. The position is primarily remote with occasional visits to the Hertfordshire office. The contract duration is six months, and candidates should be available within two weeks for consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage the ISMS in accordance with ISO27001 standards.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and management reviews.
• Monitor, measure, and improve performance and effectiveness of security practices.
• Engage with stakeholders as a trusted advisor and leader.
• Develop and maintain documentation including policies, procedures, and records.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions following findings or incidents.

Key Skills:

• Demonstrable experience leading ISO27001:2022 accreditation projects or managing an ISMS.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO27001:2022 standards and their practical implementation.
• Ability to operate independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
