IOT Senior Application Developer & Data Engineer

Summary: The role of IOT Senior Application Developer & Data Engineer involves developing applications and managing data engineering tasks in a remote setting. The position requires extensive experience with various technologies, including MuleSoft APIs and Azure Data Factory, as well as strong software development skills. The candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and implementing ETL processes while ensuring data quality and governance. Key Responsibilities:

• Proven experience as a Senior Application Developer and/or Data Engineer.
• MuleSoft APIs, Azure Data Factory, GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer services, and/or additional cloud, ETL, and application development technologies.
• Strong experience with software development principles, design patterns, and programming languages.
• Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in application development, data engineering, system integration, and support activities.
• Strong skills in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting system software components.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles and experience with both relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing ETL or ELT processes.
• Knowledge of data quality principles and experience with data governance practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with agency customers and team members.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
