Key Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain data ingestion pipelines from external devices using AWS IoT Greengrass and DCIM systems over MQTT.
- Collaborate with device and integration engineers to map raw telemetry from field devices to a unified, multi-technology asset data model.
- Build and manage AWS SiteWise asset models and telemetry configurations to digitally represent the assets.
- Support tiered alarm architecture development and deployment.
- Develop and deploy serverless functions using AWS Lambda and stream processing pipelines via Amazon Kinesis to support real-time and predictive analytics.
- Containerize and deploy services using Docker/ECS on AWS infrastructure.
- Support integration with SCADA systems and RTACs for operational technology (OT) data pipelines across solar, wind, and storage assets.
- Contribute to portal data flows - enabling real-time dashboards, KPI trending, and automated reporting for asset owners.
- Write clean, maintainable code in Python and TypeScript.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and security of IoT data flows from edge device to cloud platform.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in IoT engineering or a closely related field.
- Hands-on experience with AWS IoT services - particularly Greengrass, SiteWise, and Kinesis.
- Strong proficiency in Python; working knowledge of TypeScript.
