iOS Fullstack Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Full-Stack iOS Developer with strong hands-on experience building enterprise mobile applications and supporting backend services. The ideal candidate will have deep Swift/iOS expertise, working knowledge of Scala-based backend development, and experience with production support, deployments, monitoring, and troubleshooting across mobile and backend environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
• Build responsive and scalable mobile features using Combine, Core Data, URLSession, Push Notifications, and Async/Await.
• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Scala, Play Framework, Akka, and REST.
• Work with MySQL/SQL databases and data-access technologies such as Slick/JDBC.
• Design and integrate microservices supporting mobile applications and enterprise systems.
• Manage application builds, deployments, releases, and CI/CD pipelines, including automation through Ansible Playbooks.
• Monitor application and backend health using Datadog, troubleshoot production issues, and support timely resolution.
• Diagnose problems across iOS applications, APIs, microservices, databases, and infrastructure.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests, perform debugging, and ensure application quality.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, product, and other cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Work independently while coordinating effectively with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
• Support device connectivity and troubleshooting involving Raspberry Pi, Linux/Raspbian OS, and connected-device environments.

Required / Preferred Skills

• Strong iOS development experience with Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, MVVM, and Clean Architecture.
• Hands-on knowledge of Combine, Core Data, URLSession, Push Notifications, and Async/Await.
• Backend experience with Scala, Play Framework, Akka, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Strong SQL/database knowledge, particularly MySQL, Slick, and JDBC.
• Experience with Ansible, CI/CD, Git, unit testing, integration testing, and debugging.
• Production support and monitoring experience with Datadog.
• Familiarity with Linux/Raspbian, Raspberry Pi, and device connectivity is a plus.
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, ownership, and collaboration skills.
