Summary: The iOS Developer role is a 100% remote position focused on developing mobile applications within a small R&D team that leverages AI and speech technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile development, particularly with experience at Google, and will be responsible for both prototyping and backend service implementation. Strong communication skills and an entrepreneurial mindset are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the sole mobile developer on a small R&D team applying AI and speech technology.
- Develop prototypes for iOS, Mac, and other interface technologies using Apple, Google, and Microsoft speech services.
- Implement real-time audio and video processing with Accelerate and CoreImage using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, async/await, and MVVM.
- Design client-server architecture using Google Cloud services, Firebase, and streaming gRPC.
- Implement backend services in Python using Python async/await.
- Conduct code reviews of the client’s App Store app, delivering detailed recommendations.
