Summary: The role of research intern focuses on supporting cross-border compliance, consumer product safety, and platform regulatory governance in the UK and EU markets. Interns will conduct research on regulations, monitor enforcement actions, and assist in drafting bilingual compliance reports. This position offers practical experience in policy research and regulatory analysis, along with mentorship opportunities. Candidates should be pursuing relevant studies and possess strong bilingual skills in Chinese and English.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct desk research on key UK and EU regulations, including consumer protection, product safety, and digital services.
• Monitor enforcement actions and regulatory trends concerning major e-commerce and online platforms.
• Assist in drafting bilingual (Chinese-English) compliance reports, policy briefs, and case analyses.
• Compile and organize official documents, Q&A materials, and regulatory notices.
• Support other research tasks including translation, data processing, proofreading, and administrative coordination.

Key Skills:

• Currently pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate studies in Law, International Trade, Sociology, Media/Communication, or related fields.
• Strong reading comprehension and analytical writing skills in both Chinese and English.
• Attention to detail, clear logical thinking, and self-motivated research mindset.
• Able to commit at least 3 working days per week for a minimum of 2 months.
• Previous experience in legal research, platform governance, or cross-border commerce is a plus.
