Summary: The Interim Paralegal at Tosca will provide essential legal and administrative support to the General Counsel, EMEA, while collaborating with various business units on legal, commercial, and governance matters. This role offers an opportunity to gain broad exposure in an international environment and contribute to EMEA-wide projects. The position is primarily remote with occasional office meetings and requires travel to other EMEA locations as needed. Candidates should have at least 5 years of paralegal experience and familiarity with commercial contracts and GDPR compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure contracts are stored correctly across the business and build a searchable contract database using Microsoft tools.
- Maintain governance files for 14 EMEA entities and support director/UBO updates and annual compliance requirements.
- Support GDPR projects and assist with training programs while monitoring regulatory issues affecting the business.
- Assist with updates to key EMEA policies and support training and awareness initiatives.
- Review commercial agreements and draft contract summaries for business units across the EMEA.
- Assist with background preparation for any litigation/claims and track deadlines for case management.
- Provide general administrative support to the EMEA legal team.
Key Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience as a paralegal in a law firm or in-house.
- Solid experience with commercial contracts; exposure to IT agreements is a plus.
- Familiarity with GDPR and knowledge of corporate governance or company secretarial work.
- Experience in FMCG, food & drink, or supermarket industries.
- Fluency in English; additional EU languages like French, Spanish, or Italian are a bonus.
- Well-organized, self-motivated, and disciplined in managing workload remotely.
- Confident using Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and MyList.

You’ll collaborate with business units across the region on a variety of legal, commercial, and governance matters, and contribute to EMEA-wide projects that help shape our business. Location and work arrangements
This is an interim position for 6 months
The position is based in the UK
This is a primarily remote position with 1 day a week in the office for meetings where required
Travel required : To other EMEA locations as needed
Responsibilities
- Contracts Database
- Ensure contracts are stored correctly across the business.
- Build a searchable contract database using Microsoft tools.
- Review and update contract templates.
- Support the review, development and roll-out of new contract templates across the EMEA
- Corporate Governance/CoSec work
- Maintain governance files for 14 EMEA entities (resolutions, registers, compliance records).
- Support director/UBO updates and annual compliance requirements.
- GDPR & Compliance
- Support GDPR projects and assist with the training programs.
- Research and monitor regulatory issues affecting the business (e.g. sustainability, EPR).
- Policies
- Assist with updates to key EMEA policies.
- Support training and awareness initiatives.
- Commercial Contracts
- Review commercial agreements and draft contract summaries for business units across the EMEA.
- Support contract review requests across EMEA.
- Litigation Support
- Assist with background preparation for any litigation/claims.

Qualifications
You have at least 5 years of experience working as a paralegal either at a law firm or in-house. You have solid experience with commercial contracts; exposure to IT agreements is a plus. You’re familiar with GDPR and ideally have some knowledge of corporate governance or company secretarial work. You’ve worked in FMCG, food & drink, or supermarket industries—or you're open to stepping into that environment. You’re fluent in English, and if you speak additional EU languages like French, Spanish, or Italian, that’s a bonus. You’re well-organized, self-motivated, and disciplined in managing your workload remotely. You’re confident using Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and MyList.
