Summary: The role is for an experienced leveraged finance lawyer to provide maternity cover at an investment bank for 12 months. The position involves drafting and negotiating complex financial agreements, managing transaction closings, and assisting with debt restructuring and refinancing. The role is fully remote, with a preference for at least one day in the office to foster rapport among colleagues. Good working hours are specified from 9 AM to 6 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting complex loan agreements, credit facilities, and intercreditor agreements.
- Managing the execution, signing, and registration of financing documents to close deals.
- Assisting with refinancing existing debt and recapitalizations.
- Negotiating commitment documents and grids, as well as long form documentation.
