Summary: The Interim HR Systems & Data Lead will be responsible for stabilizing and enhancing SAM People and workforce data within an education Trust. This role involves collaboration across HR, Finance, IT, and suppliers to improve data quality and system processes. The position is primarily remote with monthly travel to Northwest London. The contract is for a duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Trust-wide workforce data cleanse and improved data standards (roles, contracts, patterns, identifiers)
- Review/improve SAM People configuration and day-to-day use
- Document end-to-end HR processes in-system (onboarding, absence, contracts, records, compliance/SCR)
- Strengthen HR-to-payroll data flows and starter/leaver automation reliability
- Create simple process maps/guides, support training, and improve workforce reporting outputs
Key Skills:
- HR systems & data specialist (ideally SAM People or HRIS)
- Practical experience working with HR and/or payroll data and data quality improvement
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written - experienced with suppliers, internal stakeholders (IT, HR, Finance) and confident documenting processes
- Must have worked in a multi academy trust, primary school or secondary school

You'll work across HR, Finance, IT and suppliers to improve data quality, system configuration and process consistency.
