Summary: The Interim Head of Finance role at a unique Public Sector organization involves leading the Year End process and overseeing the finance function on a three-month contract. The position allows for almost full remote work with occasional travel to London for meetings. Key Responsibilities:
- Leading on the Year End process, including preparation of the Statutory Accounts and acting as the main point of contact for Auditors.
- Oversee the day to day running of the finance function, ensuring financial transactions are processed in a timely and accurate fashion.
- Provide support to non-financial stakeholders, with a particular focus on budget management and financial planning.
Key Skills:
- CCAB or CIMA qualified accountant.
- Demonstrable experience operating in a similar role, overseeing all elements of finance.
- Comfortable leading on the Year End process.
- Sound knowledge of Public Sector finance.
