Summary: The role of Interim Global Infrastructure Programme Manager involves overseeing and managing global infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and quality standards. The position requires strong leadership to manage risks and relationships with third parties while maintaining operational excellence in IT infrastructure. The individual will also be responsible for service delivery oversight and improving the IT infrastructure environment. This is a non-technical role focused on management rather than hands-on technical work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage global infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Manage relationships with third parties and internal staff for effective IT infrastructure operations.
- Monitor and report on infrastructure service provider performance against SLAs.
- Address service delivery outages and incidents, ensuring proactive plans are in place.
- Manage infrastructure upgrades, patches, and maintenance requests.
- Act as an escalation point for IT infrastructure operations concerns.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of IT infrastructure experience in server, storage, or networking.
- 2 years of experience managing or leading global operations teams.
- AWS and Azure experience required.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Leadership skills obtained from experience.
