A Housing Association is seeking an Interim Financial Reporting & Year End Accountant to support its reporting team through the year-end and audit cycle. This is a 6-month assignment designed to provide stability to the junior team, technical expertise and additional capacity through a critical reporting period. Reporting into the Head of Reporting, you’ll sit within the accounts and reporting team and take ownership of statutory reporting, VAT, consolidation and audit support. This is a well-run finance function that values collaboration, professionalism and interpersonal skills. You’ll be stepping into a team that knows its processes, has learned from previous year-ends, and needs an experienced accountant to help steer delivery through audit. This can be done entirely remotely and the role offers autonomy, meaningful technical work, and the opportunity to make a tangible impact without firefighting historic issues. To be considered, please meet these criteria: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent). Strong experience in statutory reporting and year-end within a complex organisation. Solid VAT knowledge, including partial exemption. Experience working within Housing sector preferred, though those with Charity or not-for-profit experience may also apply.
