Key Responsibilities:
- Leading on an improvement project to review and update management accounting processes across the Trust
- Production of Management Accounts
- Lead strategic financial planning to ensure the long-term financial sustainability of the Trust, implementing robust financial controls and risk management practices
- Advise the Trust Board on financial strategy, offering insights to optimise financial performance and support strategic decision-making
- Support and advise the Trust’s Finance & Audit Committee, including the timely preparation and presentation of reports, papers, and financial documentation
- Work closely with the Trust CEO and Operations Director to ensure the strategic development plan is underpinned by sound financial planning aligned with the Trust’s priorities and performance targets

This role will support the Trust during a period of change and have a duration of 6 months. There will be particular focus on improving management accounting and business partnering across the 10 schools in the Trust.
This role can be full or part time, and also remote if applicants can demonstrate proven experience Multi Academy Trust settings.
The duties for the Interim Finance Director will include, but not be limited to:
