Summary: The Interim Finance Director role is a 6-month fixed-term contract reporting to the CFO, focused on transforming legacy systems and processes within the Finance department. Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CFO to review and strengthen the Finance organisation to ensure its well-structured, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Engage with Finance team members to understand current processes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the ongoing development of Finance roles and responsibilities to enhance collaboration and effectiveness across the team.
  • Oversee the review and integration of Finance systems, including ERP, to drive automation and data consistency.
  • Implement best practices in cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
  • Enhance reporting processes for the Board, Group, lenders, and the Digital Leadership Team.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified accountant; ACA, ACCA or CIMA plus relevant degree.
  • Extensive post-qualification experience (PQE), ideally within complex or fast-paced environment.
  • SaaS experience preferable.
  • Use of Netsuite, Salesforce, Power BI and AI preferred.
  • Extensive transformation and change management experience.
  • Technical accounting skills.
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • ERP / other system skills.
  • Must be robust, technically competent and hands on with excellent modelling and systems skills.

The Interim Finance Director role reports to the CFO and is for an initial 6-month contract with potential to extend. Support the CFO in transforming legacy systems and processes, driving greater efficiency and alignment across the business. Play a key role in developing a skilled and engaged Finance team while guiding the function through a period of positive change. Review and streamline data sources across the organisation to enhance consistency and increase automation.

Key Responsibilities
