Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and mentor a credit control team (currently 2 direct reports), with a focus on capability building and future scalability
  • Drive reduction of company debt
  • Prioritise and manage complex, high-value, and high-volume debtor accounts
  • Handle and resolve complex customer queries and escalations
  • Review, design, and implement credit control processes to support business growth and acquisitions
  • Support the integration of newly acquired entities from a credit and AR perspective
  • Identify and implement system improvements and automation opportunities to increase efficiency and reporting accuracy
  • Work closely with Finance leadership and wider stakeholders to improve cash flow and controls

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in a fast paced Credit Manager role
  • Demonstrated success in building or improving credit processes while managing and developing a team
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, change-driven environment, including acquisitions
  • Strong communicator with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
  • Self-starter who can operate autonomously in a remote, national role
  • Experience working across UK and EMEA markets
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential)
  • Experience with Sage Intact is highly advantageous
  • Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics is desirable but not essential
  • Strong Excel and reporting capability expected

This is a nationally based, remote role with occasional travel; therefore, candidates must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
