Interaction Designer

Summary: The Interaction Designer role focuses on creating user-centered designs for government projects, requiring proficiency in various design tools and methodologies. The position involves collaborating with stakeholders and development teams to ensure effective user experiences across platforms. Key Responsibilities:

• Create prototypes, wireframes, mock-ups, workflows, user flows, site maps, and storyboards.
• Interpret evidence-based research to identify user issues and needs.
• Design consistent user experiences across mobile and desktop platforms.
• Collaborate with user researchers and content designers to test and launch products.
• Liaise with Product Owners and Stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Work with Business Analysts to refine designs aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate with development teams to ensure proper design transition into development.

Key Skills:

• Ability to iterate on designs rapidly and create multiple concepts for testing.
• In-depth knowledge of user-centered design approaches.
• Effective communication across organizational and technical boundaries.
