Summary: As an Interaction Designer, you will be responsible for creating user-centered designs through prototypes, wireframes, and mock-ups while collaborating with various stakeholders. The role requires a strong understanding of usability issues and the ability to iterate designs rapidly based on user feedback. You will work closely with user researchers and content designers to ensure a consistent user experience across platforms. Government experience and active SC clearance are essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create prototypes, wireframes, mock-ups, workflows, user flows, site maps, and storyboards.
- Interpret evidence-based research to identify user issues and needs.
- Design a consistent user experience across mobile and desktop platforms.
- Collaborate with user researchers and content designers to test and launch products.
- Liaise with Product Owners and Stakeholders to clarify requirements.
- Work with Business Analysts to refine designs aligned with business requirements.
- Ensure UX solutions are correctly transitioned into development.
Key Skills:
- Ability to iterate on designs rapidly and develop multiple variant concepts.
- In-depth knowledge of user-centered design approaches.
- Effective communication across organizational and technical boundaries.
- Experience in delivering information architecture, user journeys, and prototypes.
- Proficiency in prototyping in code and understanding security and accessibility.
- Familiarity with agile methodology and team dynamics.
