Summary: The role of Integration Project Manager focuses on managing post-acquisition integration projects for newly acquired businesses in Germany. This position requires leading multiple projects, ensuring compliance with group policies, and coordinating with various departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills and be fluent in German, with a willingness to travel weekly within Germany. This is a 6-month contract position with potential for permanent placement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of the post-acquisition communications plan, particularly in the first 30 days
- Update and share group policies with newly acquired businesses, ensuring understanding and compliance
- Document existing business processes and systems usage to support integration planning
- Manage external vendors to ensure timely, budget-compliant, and high-quality delivery of project tasks
- Develop deployment plans for system integrations, including communications, downtimes, and go-live coordination
- Maintain and update project timelines in the PM system (e.g., Monday.com)
- Support cross-functional integration projects in Finance, IT, HR, and Operations
- Monitor risks and issues, and implement mitigation plans as needed
- Organise and track training sessions to support successful rollouts
- Create training materials, communications, and project notices as needed
- Provide regular project and programme-level reporting
- Offer administrative and project support where required
Key Skills:
- Fluent German speaker
- Willingness to travel within Germany on a weekly basis
- Experience in project management, ideally with exposure to business integrations, business transformation, or business change projects
- Formal project management certification (Prince2, PMP, APM, or equivalent)
- Ability to establish and build trust with acquired business leadership teams
- Confident working with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong understanding of risk management and change control
- Excellent organisational, communication, and coordination skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Able to manage multiple projects
- Driving licence preferred

As part of rapid international expansion in Germany, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage Integration Projects, on-boarding newly acquired businesses into the group. This strategic role will place you at the heart of the post-acquisition integration programme, managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced and growing environment.

What we’re looking for:
- Fluent German speaker.
- Willing to travel within Germany on a weekly basis for a couple of days per week - this will start in Southern Germany but long term will shift.
- Experience in project management ideally with exposure to business integrations, business transformation or business change projects.
- Formal project management certification (Prince2, PMP, APM, or equivalent)
- A demeanour which quickly establishes and builds trust and can reassure the acquired business leadership team that everything is hand and the process is going to be smooth.
- Confident working with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong understanding of risk management and change control
- Excellent organisational, communication, and coordination skills
- Self-motivated, comfortable working independently, and able to manage multiple projects
- Driving licence preferred.
