Summary: The Technical Program Manager will coordinate complex technical integration initiatives, ensuring successful collaboration across cross-functional teams and managing system-level dependencies. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale, cross-functional technical programs with a focus on system integration and dependency management.
- Develop detailed program plans, integration roadmaps, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Develop detailed dependency roadmap.
- Identify, track, and resolve technical dependencies across teams and workstreams.
- Proactively work with engineering and product leads to address gaps, sequencing issues, or potential blockers.
- Serve as a central point of coordination across technical teams, ensuring clarity of ownership and accountability for interdependent deliverables.
- Collaborate and facilitate regular syncs and status updates across project core team members and program stakeholders.
- Monitor technical risks related to integrations and dependencies; escalate issues with potential downstream impact.
- Implement contingency plans to maintain project timelines and quality.
- Deliver timely and transparent program status reports, highlighting risks, decisions, and dependencies.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and integration points in clear, business-friendly language.
- Leverage project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet) to maintain visibility of integration milestones and cross-team dependencies.
- Continuously improve program management processes, documentation, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, software development, or systems integration
- Proven track record managing cross-functional technical programs with complex dependencies
- Strong technical acumen and ability to understand system architecture, APIs, and integration patterns
- Excellent organizational, facilitation, and communication skills
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project)
