Summary: The Integration Engineer role involves migrating approximately 50 APIs from MuleSoft to Azure and designing, developing, and deploying around 20 new APIs as part of a tech transformation for a high street retailer. This position is remote with occasional travel to London or Manchester offices and is expected to start as soon as possible. The role requires significant experience in API integrations and the Azure stack. The contract duration is 12 months and classified as outside IR35.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Migrate approximately 50 APIs from MuleSoft to Azure.
  • Design, develop, and deploy around 20 new APIs over the course of 2026.
  • Ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption during the migration process.
  • Contribute to the expansion and modernization of the overall integration platform.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong experience across the Azure stack, including Logic Apps and Function Apps.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining API integrations and data pipelines (REST, JSON, XML, JDBC).
  • Desirable experience with MuleSoft.
  • Desirable experience with Workday.

Chroma is currently working with a prominent high street retailer who is looking for an Integration Engineer to join their team, this is an excellent opportunity for someone to get involved in the middle of an exciting tech transformation!

As an Integration Engineer, you’ll play a key part in helping the team work faster and smarter. You will play a key role in migrating approximately 50 APIs from MuleSoft to Azure, ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption. In addition, you will design, develop, and deploy around 20 new APIs over the course of 2026, contributing to the expansion and modernisation of the overall integration platform.

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong experience across the Azure stack, including Logic Apps and Function Apps
