Summary: Vario from Pinsent Masons seeks an Insurance Lawyer to join their international community of freelance legal professionals. The ideal candidate will have transactional experience in the insurance sector and will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and advising on various insurance-related contracts. This role offers the flexibility of freelance work while providing access to the resources of a leading international law firm. Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and advising on contracts including insurance distribution agreements
- Advising on a broad range of insurance areas such as major distribution deals, transfers of insurance business, and product reviews
- Corporate M&A and/or procurement/outsourcing experience, regulatory and restructuring work in relation to the insurance sector
- Experience of dispute resolution would also be considered
Key Skills:
- Qualified lawyer with a strong academic background
- 5+ PQE
- Flexible, communicative, and adaptable
- Enthusiastic about embracing new work cultures
- Able to rapidly develop close, trusting relationships

The ideal candidate will have transactional experience in the insurance sector, whether in private practice or in-house as well as:
- Drafting, reviewing, and advising on contracts including insurance distribution agreements
- Advising on a broad range of insurance areas such major distribution deals, transfers of insurance business and product reviews
- Corporate M&A and /or procurement/outsourcing experience , regulatory and restructuring work in relation to the insurance sector
- Experience of dispute resolution would also be considered
5+PQE In order to meet the demands of the projects given by our clients you will also need to demonstrate the following:
