Summary: The role of Freelance Instructional Designer requires a subject matter expert in Python, DevOps, and cloud computing to develop synchronous training content for technical modules. The position is focused on creating engaging, instructor-led learning experiences and migrating them into a Learning Management System (LMS). This short-term contract is ideal for an experienced instructional designer with a strong background in technical training. The contract spans from the start of July to the end of September, covering 14 working days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create synchronous training content for two technical modules based on existing outlines.
- Develop high-quality, instructor-led learning experiences.
- Migrate training content into the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Design instructor-led demonstrations and engaging learning materials.
- Utilize content authoring tools for digital learning content creation.
- Build Google Slides presentations with visuals and detailed speaker notes.

About the Role
We’re seeking a freelance Instructional Designer (LD/ID) with subject matter expertise (SME) in Python, DevOps, and cloud computing to create synchronous (live) training content for two technical modules. You’ll work from existing module outlines to build high-quality, instructor-led learning experiences and migrate them into our LMS. This is a short-term, outcome-focused contract ideal for an experienced technical instructional designer who enjoys creating engaging, application-oriented learning content for live delivery.
