Summary: The Insights & Reporting Lead role involves designing, building, and operating a Power BI and Power Platform reporting environment for a complex multi-supplier digital portfolio within a secure government organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Power BI environment from mobilisation
- Develop data models, DAX measures and automation flows
- Integrate supplier data into a single reporting layer
- Deliver weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting packs
- Build dashboards for senior stakeholders and governance forums
- Support QBRs and showcase reporting
- Analyse delivery trends, RAID, dependencies and forecasts
- Produce narrative insights and exception reporting
- Track forecast accuracy and performance signals
- Define and enforce data quality standards
- Run validation checks and improve upstream data quality
- Support knowledge transfer and Power BI capability build within the customer
Key Skills:
- 8+ years' data/analytics experience
- Strong Power BI build experience (architecture + development, not just reporting)
- Advanced DAX and data modelling (star schema, ETL)
- Power Platform experience (Power Automate/Apps)
- Portfolio-level reporting (RAID, dependencies, delivery data)
