Summary: The Infrastructure Transformation Architect is responsible for designing and implementing IT infrastructure solutions that meet client business services' functional and non-functional requirements. This role requires expertise in data center transformation projects, cloud migration, and the development of infrastructure strategies. The architect will evaluate technology trends and recommend solutions to ensure seamless migration and optimal performance. Strong technical knowledge in virtualization and Microsoft technologies is essential for success in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather application functionality and non-functional requirements to design IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Lead data center transformation projects, including environment analysis and migration to public and on-premise cloud.
  • Develop infrastructure migration strategies and high-level design documents.
  • Evaluate technology trends and recommend infrastructure solutions for business services.
  • Review and stitch low-level design documents for compute, storage, backup, database, networks, and security.
  • Assure appropriate IT practices and measures are in place.
  • Develop innovative processes and templates for infrastructure implementation.
  • Implement infrastructure architecture based on IT strategies and business requirements.
  • Provide hands-on experience in cloud build projects and cloud migration/transformation.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding infrastructure solutions.

Key Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in cloud build projects and cloud migration/transformation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Oracle Virtualization, Red Hat Virtualization).
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange).
  • Knowledge of Unix operating environments (Oracle Solaris, HP-UX, IBM AIX, Linux).
  • Technical knowledge of server, compute, storage, and backup technologies.
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies and their integration.

Job Description

Has an ability to gather application functionality and non-functional requirement understand it and convert them into the overall IT infrastructure designs and implementation solutions for client's Business services

Has experience in DC transformation projects , which involved environment analysis, right sizing for future, designed and implemented on public and On prem cloud. Post implementation migration of Virtual and physical infra from as-is environment to newly build infrastructure on public/ Private cloud.

  • Hands on experience in Cloud Build projects, Cloud Migration/Transformation,
  • Ability to understand business requirements and transform it into a robust and efficient solution at optimized efforts and within budgeted costs
  • Evaluate technology, market trends and industry, identify prospective impact on business
  • Experience in building solution around Nutanix, HyperV based on on-premise hyperconverged infrastructure
  • Craft the Infrastructure migration strategies, principles, and high-level design document.
  • Develop processes and templates that are innovative without being stifling and restrictive.
  • Review and Stitch infrastructure low level design documents which includes compute, storage and backup, Database, networks and security
  • Develop implementation plan for infrastructure architecture on basis of IT strategies and business requirements
  • Evaluate and recommend infrastructure solutions to best meet the seamless migration need of the business services.
  • Assure that the most appropriate IT practices measures are in place.
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands on experience on virtualization technologies like
