Infrastructure Security Engineer

Summary: The Infrastructure Security Engineer role focuses on VMware environments, cloud migration, and microsegmentation within hybrid infrastructures. The position is a 6-month initial contract and requires a strong background in network security and VMware technologies. The ideal candidate will also have experience in implementing segmentation and security policies. This role is primarily remote with occasional visits to UK offices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus on VMware environments, cloud migration, and microsegmentation across hybrid infrastructure.
• Implement segmentation/security policies.
• Conduct traffic analysis and manage security policies.

Key Skills:

• VMware technologies including vSphere, ESXi, NSX or VMware Cloud Foundation.
• Microsegmentation/network segmentation experience.
• Illumio, Guardicore, NSX or similar technologies.
• Cloud migration or hybrid cloud environment experience.
• Strong networking and security engineering background.
• Experience with traffic analysis and security policy management.
• Exposure to GCP, GCVE, AWS or Azure beneficial.
