Summary: Our client, a Medical Center affiliated with a California Public Ivy university, is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager for a remote position. The role requires a strong background in project management, particularly in technology and infrastructure projects, with a focus on Electronic Medical Record (EMR) implementations. Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship and hold a PMP certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create business requirements, project plans, project schedules, and associated project materials.
- Manage technology and infrastructure projects, including networks, data centers, servers, and application integrations.
- Support Electronic Medical Record (EMR) implementations from both application and infrastructure perspectives.
- Utilize project management tools and methodologies effectively.
- Produce clear technical documentation and deliverables.
- Communicate project management strategies, schedules, tasks, deliverables, risks, and issues effectively.
Key Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in project management.

- A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience that includes creating business requirements, project plans, project schedules and associated project materials
- Must have PMP Certification
- 5+ years minimum experience in project management including technology, infrastructure (ex: networks (wired, wireless, VPN, firewall), data center, facilities, servers, storage, databases, interfaces, endpoint engineering, Active Directory and cloud technology), and application integrations projects
- Experience with supporting Electronic Medical Record (EMR) / Electronic Health Record (EHR) implementations (EPIC) from the application and infrastructure side, as well as ancillary applications and devices.
- Expert understanding of project management and project management tools
- Expert understanding of software development and infrastructure project lifecycles
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, multi-task across many assignments and delegate
- Technical writing skills producing clear and unambiguous deliverables
