Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager Infrastructure & Networking to lead complex infrastructure initiatives across cloud, networking, data center, and AI/GPU environments.
This role is responsible for driving large-scale technical programs from planning through execution while coordinating cross-functional engineering teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical program management expertise with deep infrastructure knowledge, including cloud platforms, data center operations, networking, and emerging AI/GPU technologies.
This individual will serve as a strategic leader responsible for governance, portfolio management, risk mitigation, dependency management, and organizational alignment across multiple concurrent initiatives.
This position offers the opportunity to support the delivery of high-performance cloud infrastructure solutions including virtual private servers, bare metal offerings, cloud storage platforms, and GPU-powered environments supporting AI and machine learning workloads across global regions.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Execution
Lead multiple concurrent infrastructure and networking programs from initiation through successful delivery.
Build and manage program roadmaps, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and critical path activities.
Establish program governance frameworks and drive execution consistency across projects.
Facilitate program kickoffs, stakeholder alignment sessions, executive reviews, and status reporting.
Ensure programs remain on schedule, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Infrastructure & Cloud Programs
Manage initiatives involving: Cloud infrastructure, Networking deployments, Data center expansions and upgrades, Storage platforms, Bare metal environments, AI and GPU infrastructure.
Partner with engineering and operations teams to coordinate infrastructure deployment activities.
Track technical dependencies across multiple teams and vendors.
Portfolio & Dependency Management
Develop and maintain complex program portfolios using Smartsheet and Jira.
Create dependency-linked schedules spanning multiple projects and workstreams.
Monitor program health, resource constraints, competing priorities, and delivery risks.
Drive visibility across interconnected initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
Governance & Risk Management
Maintain program governance artifacts including: RAID logs, Risk registers, Executive dashboards, Status reports, Action item trackers.
Identify, document, escalate, and mitigate risks and issues.
Drive accountability across stakeholders and ensure timely resolution of blockers.
Data Center & Infrastructure Delivery
Support data center expansion, modernization, and deployment efforts.
Coordinate critical path activities associated with: Facility readiness, Power and cooling requirements, Hardware procurement, Installation and commissioning, Vendor coordination.
Collaborate with technical teams regarding infrastructure requirements and deployment timelines.
Stakeholder & Change Management
Influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Drive organizational change management, process adoption, and operational maturity initiatives.
Translate highly technical concepts into business-friendly communications for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
Build strong partnerships across engineering, operations, product, finance, procurement, and vendor organizations.
Required Qualifications
Experience
10+ years of Technical Program Management experience within infrastructure, networking, cloud, or technology-focused organizations.
Proven track record managing large-scale technical programs involving multiple workstreams and stakeholder groups.
Experience leading concurrent infrastructure programs in rapidly changing environments.
Technical Expertise
Strong understanding of: Cloud infrastructure, Enterprise networking, Data center operations, Infrastructure deployment lifecycles, Technology program delivery.
Knowledge of GPU-as-a-Service (GPUaaS) environments and AI infrastructure concepts.
Understanding of data center infrastructure critical path planning and execution.
Program & Portfolio Management
Advanced experience using: Smartsheet, Jira.
Experience building and managing: Multi-program portfolios, Dependency-linked schedules, Executive dashboards, Program governance structures.
Leadership & Communication
Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders without formal authority.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Experience driving process standardization and organizational change initiatives.
Ability to effectively communicate with both executive leadership and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting GPU clusters, AI infrastructure, machine learning platforms, or high-performance computing environments.
Experience with data center construction, expansion, or modernization projects.
Familiarity with: MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, Basis of Design (BoD), Bill of Materials (BoM), Power and cooling requirements for AI infrastructure.
Experience managing vendor relationships, procurement schedules, and infrastructure delivery milestones.
Background in cloud service providers, hyperscale environments, colocation facilities, or enterprise infrastructure organizations.
PMP, PgMP, Agile, or related certifications preferred.
