Role overview
We are looking for a general Infrastructure Engineer to provide infrastructure support for a MuleSoft and CRM integration program. The engineer will manage network connectivity, file movement, security configurations, environments, monitoring, and infrastructure-related troubleshooting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide infrastructure support for MuleSoft integrations and CRM-connected applications.
- Configure and troubleshoot network connectivity, firewalls, ports, DNS, routing, VPNs, proxies, load balancers and certificates.
- Support secure file-transfer processes and connectivity between internal and external systems.
- Coordinate environment readiness across development, testing, staging and production.
- Manage service accounts, access controls, keys, certificates, secrets and infrastructure configurations.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, network, connectivity and performance issues affecting MuleSoft interfaces and CRM processes.
- Support deployment, release, change-management and production-readiness activities.
- Build infrastructure monitoring, dashboards, health checks and actionable alerts.
- Participate in bridge calls, incident investigation, root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain infrastructure diagrams, configuration documents, operational procedures and support runbooks.
- Work closely with MuleSoft, CRM, cloud, network, security, database and application teams.
Mandatory skills
- Strong hands-on infrastructure and production-support experience.
- Good knowledge of enterprise networking, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, proxies, load balancers and TLS certificates.
- Experience supporting file movement, SFTP or managed file-transfer solutions.
- Experience supporting cloud or hybrid application environments.
- Understanding of middleware and API-based integration environments.
- Hands-on observability experience covering infrastructure metrics, application logs, dashboards and alerts.
- Strong troubleshooting and cross-team coordination capabilities.
- Willingness to work in the EST time zone.
Preferred skills
- Experience supporting MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Experience supporting Salesforce or another enterprise CRM platform.
- Knowledge of API gateways, OAuth, service accounts and secrets management.
- Experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
- Experience with Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, New Relic or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation and scripting.
