Key Responsibilities:
- Lead compute & storage infrastructure consolidation and migration efforts.
- Assess systems, recommend optimizations, and implement solutions.
- Plan and document migrations (UCS upgrades, Pure Storage, PowerScale).
- Act as the bridge between engineering and operations for smooth execution.
- Maintain visibility into infrastructure health, capacity, and performance.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years in infrastructure engineering (compute & storage).
- Expertise in Windows (2012+) and Linux (RedHat 5.x 9.x).
- Hands-on experience with Cisco UCS, Pure Storage, Dell PowerScale, Cohesity, Dell HCI, VMware 7x 8x.
- Proven experience with infrastructure migrations and consolidation.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with cloud migration strategies (Azure/hybrid).

World Wide Technology is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer Compute & Storage (Non-Network) remote role. This role is part of WWT s Strategic Resourcing services and is a contract role. The candidate will be supporting a WWT customer and will be employed by one of WWT s preferred partners. Rate/Salary: A reasonable estimate of the current pay range for this position is $70.00 to $80.00 hourly. Actual pay will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs, and will be set by your employer. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in base pay.
