Summary: The Infrastructure Engineer role involves providing technical support and escalation for desktop and systems engineers while monitoring and troubleshooting Windows Server environments. The position is fully remote and offers part-time options, working on a long-term project within the insurance sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a point of escalation and support for the Desktop Support Group and systems engineers.
- Monitor Windows Server 2016-2025 servers and troubleshoot problems.
- Utilize SCCM for Windows 11 and server patching.
- Enforce change management and compliance processes.
- Work as a technical engineer on assigned projects.
- Manage cloud-native laptops using Microsoft InTune.
- Scripting with PowerShell.
- Support and maintain third-party applications, including Microsoft Cloud products (O365, Azure, Teams).
- Support and maintain VMware VDI Horizon desktop environments.
- Administer Azure Entra ID, Windows AD, DNS, and GPOs.
- Support and maintain SQL Server and BI environments.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Windows Server 2016-2025.
- Knowledge of SCCM and InTune.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud products (O365, Azure, Teams).
- Experience with VMware VDI and clusters.
- Understanding of Azure permissions, IaaS, and PaaS.
- Knowledge of CyberArk and SQL Server.
- Experience with TerraForm in Azure.
