p>Harvey Nash's client is recruiting for an Infrastructure Designer on an initial 6 month contract. You will develop and govern high-level and detailed infrastructure designs, ensuring cost-effective, reliable solutions aligned with architectural strategies and roadmaps. You will also provide consultancy on project estimates, design impacts, and the adoption of standards and emerging technologies.
Key skills/experience:
- Knowledge to support the design & architectural governance process, demonstrating technical experience in the following:-
- Operating systems; Windows Server, Red Hat Linux
- Services; TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory
- Database; Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle
- Messaging/Collaboration; Exchange, MS Teams, Sharepoint/Sharepoint Online
- Virtualisation; VMWare ESXi
- Desktop; Windows
- Cloud & Azure knowledge
- The skills to support & deliver continuous improvement within the organisation's capabilities.
