Summary: The Infrastructure Cloud Architect with Ansible role involves collaborating with enterprise architects to design and establish infrastructure architecture principles and standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Work with enterprise architect on design, strategy, and standards; document and publish infrastructure architecture principles and standards.
- Set strategic direction for infrastructure technologies including public cloud, directory services, and security best practices.
- Promote shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows.
- Ensure project alignment with business and IT strategies, avoiding duplication of functionality.
- Serve as level-4 escalation point for operations team and assist with problem resolution.
- Plan for life and refresh cycles, ensuring solutions align with various infrastructure components.
- Develop and monitor technology architecture and vision; assess current and future infrastructure needs.
- Ensure installations and upgrades comply with policies and license agreements.
- Identify, implement, and monitor best practices for infrastructure technology architecture.
- Review software requirements and design architecture for high availability and disaster recovery.
Key Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of architecture-related experience, with at least 3 years as an architect.
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience in IT Consulting is preferred.
- Ability to lead Infrastructure and DevOps teams towards IT infrastructure solutions.
- Expert knowledge of infrastructure components such as Windows servers, public cloud technologies, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Cloud certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

Work in conjunction with enterprise architect on design, strategy, and standards; documents and
publishes appropriate infrastructure architecture principles and standards, position papers,
blueprints, best practices, patterns, and frameworks
Set strategic direction for various infrastructure technologies such as public cloud, directory
services, collaboration services, network, storage, server, database and security best practices
Promotion of shared infrastructure and applications to reduce costs and improve information flows.
Ensure that projects do not duplicate functionality or diverge from each other and business and IT
strategies.
Serve as level-4 escalation point for operations team and assist with problem resolution and root
cause analysis as needed
Plans for life and refresh cycles. Ensures that architected solutions work in line with application,
network, desktop, server, storage, etc.
Develops and monitors technology architecture and technology vision; determines current and

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 5 years of architecture-related experience, at least 3 of which needs to be working as an
architect
Minimum 3 years of recent experience in financial services industry
Experience in IT Consulting is preferred
Ability to work with and lead Infrastructure and DevOps teams towards IT infrastructure solutions
Expert knowledge of standard infrastructure components such as Windows-based servers,
enterprise network components, public cloud Infrastructure/PaaS technologies, Microsoft
