Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automation-first solutions to reduce manual toil across engineering teams
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and branching strategy
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for shared platforms and services
  • Develop reusable automation components for long-term scalability
  • Contribute to and extend automation pipelines and frameworks
  • Automate and manage network infrastructure, including Cisco ACI environments, using IaC principles
  • Enhance internal automation services and transition operational ownership to consuming teams
  • Work independently from high-level requirements and documented frameworks
  • Self-onboard and execute effectively using internal documentation (eg, Confluence)

Key Skills:

  • Strong background in infrastructure automation
  • Deep hands-on experience with Terraform
  • Experience with AWS and Azure (Azure preferred)
  • Experience working with Cisco ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure), including automation and configuration
  • Proven ability to design and implement Infrastructure as Code across compute, cloud, and network domains
  • Experience delivering automation as a shared service
  • Hands-on experience with Ansible

Immediate contract for an experienced Infrastructure Automation Engineer with In-depth ACI expertise to join a Cloud Automation Engineering team. This contract focuses on designing, building, and evolving automation platforms and shared services that reduce manual operational effort and improve scalability across the organisation.
You will be a highly autonomous engineer who can take broad direction, leverage existing documentation, and independently drive projects forward while collaborating with a globally distributed team.
