Summary: This role is for a Contract Functional Consultant specializing in OpenText Extended ECM solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA. The position is remote, with a preference for candidates from North America or nearshore/offshore locations. The consultant will be responsible for the migration and deployment of ECM solutions, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and effective document management. The role offers a competitive hourly rate based on experience and location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the migration and deployment of OpenText Extended ECM (ExECM) Cloud solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA (RISE on Azure Cloud)
- Lead or assist in designing, configuring, and deploying OpenText ExECM solutions
- Collaborate with business analysts, SAP teams, and IT stakeholders to translate requirements into ECM solutions
- Configure repositories, metadata, business workspaces, and permissions according to governance standards
- Support migration of legacy content to new OpenText repositories
- Troubleshoot and resolve document management and system performance issues
- Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams
- Ensure compliance with data retention, security, and regulatory requirements
Key Skills:
- 2-5+ years' experience with OpenText Content Management (specifically ExECM)
- Strong understanding of SAP and OpenText integration, ArchiveLink, Business Workspaces, and metadata synchronization
- Familiarity with ECM governance, taxonomy, and document lifecycle management
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, global environment
- Experience with OpenText ExECM Cloud for SAP (RISE Cloud)
- Knowledge of content/document management with SAP systems
- Experience with OpenText Smart View, Content Server, and Documentum is a plus
