Key Responsibilities:
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Set up new user accounts, manage licenses, and configure M365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
- Troubleshoot M365-related issues for employees.
- Implement and maintain security configurations and best practices within the M365 environment.
- OneDrive for Business Support & Administration: Set up and configure OneDrive sites and sharing permissions.
- Provide guidance and support to employees on using OneDrive effectively for file storage and collaboration.
- Troubleshoot synchronization and access issues.
- Ensure appropriate data governance and security for files stored in OneDrive.
- General IT Support & Systems Administration: Provide remote technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with software installation, updates, and license management.
- Help manage and maintain a small inventory of IT assets (if applicable).
- Offer guidance on IT best practices and security awareness.
- Perform routine system maintenance and monitoring as needed.
- Documentation and Training: Create and maintain IT documentation, system configurations, and "how-to" guides for common tasks and setups.
- Potentially provide brief training sessions to employees on new tools or processes.
- Ad-hoc IT Projects: Assist with other IT-related projects and tasks as they arise and as capacity allows.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as an IT Administrator, IT Support Specialist, Systems Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD basics, Intune is a plus).
- Experience in CMS (Wordpress).
- Experience with setting up, managing, and securing OneDrive for Business.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with common office software and productivity tools.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, basic firewall management).
- Experience with IT security best practices and implementation (e.g., multi-factor authentication, endpoint security).
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Proactive and customer-focused attitude.
- Experience working remotely and supporting remote users is highly desirable.
