Summary: The Cloud Services Developer role involves working with Informatica PowerCenter to manage and migrate data within a cloud environment for the City of Philadelphia. The position requires the setup of test servers, creation of mappings, and verification of migrated repositories. Key Responsibilities:

  • Informatica 8.1.1 (current)
  • Backup the Informatica version 8.1.1 Repository.
  • Set up test server
  • Use image production server to establish test server.
  • Create informatica mappings on cloud platform.
  • Cleanup on IDMC server.
  • Incorporate all current sequence ids from Production into Test Repository.
  • Creation of the meta data on the IDMC server.
  • Verify the Migrated Repository,

Key Skills:

  • Knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter.
  • Experience in Informatica PowerCenter upgrade migration.
  • Experience in Informatica PowerCenter software installation - Multiple versions.
  • Ability to spec out hardware requirements.
  • Experience in developing ETL processes end-to-end in Informatica.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, transformations, Mappings, Workflows.
  • Ability to apply best practices to ETL development, testing, scheduling, and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of SQL (standard).
  • Ability to provide training to the City's Informatica PowerCenter administrator/developers(s).
