Summary: The Informatica MDM Developer role is a long-term contract position focused on leveraging extensive experience in Informatica tools to support Data Engineering and Data Governance initiatives. The candidate will analyze user requirements, automate processes, and improve existing systems while collaborating with various organizational units. A strong background in Master Data Management and data quality implementation is essential for success in this role. The position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in work arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of complicated tasks relying on experience and judgment to accomplish goals.
- Understand business objectives and problems, identifying alternative solutions and performing cost/benefit analysis.
- Analyze user requirements and existing procedures to automate processing or improve systems.
- Collaborate with personnel to analyze operational procedures and document user needs and program functions.
- Review system capabilities and specifications to determine feasibility of program requests or changes.
- Support Data Engineering and Data Governance work in SHARP.
Key Skills:
- 10+ years of experience with Informatica tools including Powercenter, IICS, IDMC, MDM, Axon, EDC, IDQ, Customer360, Supplier360, Entity360.
- Experience establishing Master Data and Reference data for large organizations.
- Experience implementing data quality rules using Informatica DQ.
- Experience working with enterprise scale data sets in Snowflake (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field (preferred).
- Experience in healthcare or Public Health (preferred).
- Experience at a state agency (preferred).
- Experience with Python scripts for automation and interaction with APIs (preferred).

Job Description:
- 10+years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Understands business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
- Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system
- Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
- Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
